Steps to reproduce

metabolomics was performed in fecal samples extracted in water, as published elsewhere with minor changes (58). In brief, the extracted samples were mixed with a phosphate buffer (pH = 7.4), containing 10% D2O, 0.1 M phosphate, and 0.1 mM Trimethylsilyl propionate (TSP). The samples run on a Bruker Ascend 400 MHz high-resolution NMR instrument (Bruker Biospin, Germany), the NMR data acquired using a 1D first increment of a NOESY (noesygppr1d).
